This is a short walking stick carved from norwegian birch harvested in Lofoten (Norway) in 2003, crowned with a naturally swan-neck-grown schrub oak from the Costa Blanca, Spain. The stick is not for sale, and is frequently used by the carving artist himself, as a "companion" on his lighter, shorter hikes or beach strolls.
He has several times been tempted to carve the details on the naturally grown swan neck, but has not fallen for the temptation... yet So far, the details have been left to the imagination.
